Description

Today I was taught how to scan and log clips.  I organized the clips and inched the ones that needed it, then after this I started to scan each clip and then go through the rest of the logging on both of the excel spreadsheets, as well as in the clip binder. I made a mistake, but caught it and had to white out in the binder. I also had to put up a sign board today which had a very long title so it was a bit difficult.

 

Reflection

I have been getting better at asking for help, rather than trying to figure it out on my own and wasting time. This is something I have been trying to work on when given a task I am not familiar with, like logging clips.

Wednesday

Description

Today I continued working on logging clips. I worked on August clips for about an hour and then Megan gave me a press release to send and post about the Senior Art Exhibit. I sent the press release and PSA’s with no problem, but had trouble posting to the web because the notepad wasn’t stripping the text for me. When I tried posting it would give me an error page because the text was not correct. Megan helped me and she ended up posting the photo. I also put up the sign board and after this, I continued to work on clips.

 

Reflection

Although clips are very tedious, I am getting the hang of logging them. I also am getting comfortable with sending and posting press releases. I am happy with the progress I have made so far.
