Today I continued to work on my research project on Jeff Schoyen.

Reflection

The research project is a slow process that involves hours of flipping through binders and digging through excel files and scanned clips. Megan told me it would be easier to find articles mentioning him by using the excel search tool, but unfortunately this was not the case. I tried typing in the suggested search words Megan wrote one the directions for me but they came up with no results in most of the excel files. I had better luck when I tried searching "orchestra." The only problem with this is that if it was an article I didn't catch when I was doing my binder search, I had to dig through the "scanned clips" in the database folder to try to find the article, and sometimes Jeff Schoyen wouldn't even be mentioned.  It was a little bit frustrating, but I am still happy I am getting this experience.
